PeacePlayers International would like to thank the Students for International Development (SID) Club of Brigham Young University Hawaii. Led by Ema Miroslava Billings and President Saekoy Yamashita, the club organized a film festival and sold PPI wristbands donated by Clay and Lisa Broadbent of Logan, Utah. SID, which learned about PPI after several BYUH students visited PeacePlayers International’s Middle East site with Chad Ford, a professor at the school, senior writer at ESPN.com and consultant for PPI, raised $1,000 in all. It was the first time in the club’s history that the school had allowed it to raise funds for a nonprofit organization.
