Mike Vaughan-Cherubin, an Operations Manager for PPI in the Middle East, volunteered to lead the Mary Vaughan Lindsey Memorial while in the United States for the summer.

PeacePlayers International would like to thank the Vaughan, Cherubin, and Lindsey families for their generous contributions to the Mary Vaughan Lindsey Memorial. A completely volunteer effort led by current PeacePlayers International – Middle East Operations Director Michael Vaughan-Cherubin, the Memorial was established in honor of the late Mary Vaughan Lindsey, who lived her life in accord with PeacePlayers International’s ethos of mutual respect and understanding. As of press time, the Vaughan, Lindsey, Cherubin families and their friends had already raised well over $3,000 of their $5,000 goal. Part of the Memorial will fund the construction of a basketball court at the Hand in Hand School in Jerusalem, while the rest will support PeacePlayers International – Middle East’s general operating expenses.

About PeacePlayers International: PeacePlayers International is an international nonprofit that uses basketball to unite and educate young people and their communities. To learn more, please visit www.peaceplayersintl.org.
